WHTSGNGON—what’s going on(?)—is a collaboration combining news and very short fiction. Our stories are inspired by events happening around the world, and the links contained throughout the body of each piece encourage further contemplation.

David Backer was born in 1984 in Danbury, Connecticut. He edits the literature aggregator, FictionDaily.

Ben White graduated from Harvard in 2008 and now studies medicine in Texas. He writes Midnight Stories and edits Nanoism, both ongoing collections of ultra-brief fiction.
